New Jersey Lottery Just Created Another Millionaire!
Million Dollar Replay Winners Announced
TRENTON (March 15, 2024) – New Jersey Lottery's Million Dollar Replay Grand Prize Drawing was held today at the Golden Nugget Atlantic City Hotel, Casino and Marina, where more than $1,500,000 in prizes were awarded to contest lucky players. Today's top prize winner was Brian Heck of Gloucester County. The winner was present at the event as his name was called out as New Jersey Lottery's newest millionaire. Fourteen other Lottery players also received prizes ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 as part of the Grand Prize Drawing.
Throughout 2023, New Jersey Lottery players all over the state submitted their non-winning Scratch-Off tickets online for a second chance to win big prizes. Each quarter, 100 names were selected and awarded a $250 prize, as well as entry into today's Grand Prize Drawing. Fifteen prizes were awarded, along with five $1,000 door prizes, five Scratch-Offs packs worth $300 each, and five gift baskets. Guests also enjoyed the fan-favorite Big Spin Wheel and photo booth with many opportunities to win prizes.
James Carey, New Jersey Lottery Executive Director, welcomed guests and assisted in the drawing. "Once again, New Jersey Lottery players who were quarterfinalists in the Million Dollar Replay contest came to Atlantic City for fun, entertainment, and their chance to become a millionaire. For the 13th consecutive year, we were happy to see our players enjoy the ultimate do-over with their opportunity to win $1,000,000!"
Scott Present, Lottery Host, conducted the drawing for the quarterfinalists with the help of Lottery staff. Master of Ceremonies Adam Helfgott of Xtreme Event Group brought the additional entertainment this year by interacting with the guests and prizewinners throughout the event. The drawing was conducted under the observation of Mercadien, P.C. Certified Public Accountants until the official results were achieved and the 15 finalists were selected.
Million Dollar Replay's $1,000,000 winner, Brian Heck, was excited and shocked when he heard the presenter first call out the name of his county followed by the name of his town. He knew his name was coming next and it did. Knowing the win was imminent did not prepare him to actually experience winning a life-changing amount of money. Brian remained at a loss for words as the crowd celebrated him.
Brian plans to use the prize money to buy a house. Congratulations again to Brian!
